Nothing but teething problems all season for our own Texan, Mr. Colin Edwards II, the Texas Tornado. He has had nothing but problems with that machine all year. More today....

Kudos to Colin and Haga, they have a tough job!! I admit they are not making quite the show that Ducati is, but let's face it. Other than Honda, most teams don't show up the first year and consistently finish in the top ten. I'd love to see Edwards and Haga doing better, running up front and mixing with Biaggi and Rossi, but at least they are not on the Kawasakis!!

  Gives a whole new meaning to this emoticon. :angryfir:

Boy Paul, glad to know when you take the 'pril to barbeque, it doesn't decide you are the meat on the grille.

Im real glad that both CEII and Haga are ok. Hopefully they will get the older Cubes ready for this weekend

Aprilia is going to need riders of CE's & Haga's abilities to help with the R&D on the Cube. If you don't have a rider that can push the limits...you'll never find them. Ducati is doing well b/c racing is Ducati's specialty. They know how to build fast bikes. Of course, it helps to have Caporossi & Bayliss piloting them. :chug:

aprilia isn't exactly new to FIM racing, they're just sucking at providing a sorted bike in MotoGP this year.. ;)

Gooooo, you SOOOK! (I still don't know what that means)...

Your absolutly right about FIM. FIM is based on production bikes as opposed to MotoGP is just one off specialty bikes. Aprillia Mille R Colin Edwards Replica would be my top pick for a replacement of my SV right now...... hum now if I could only "find" $19K laying around. I think the triple layout is a interesting approach. The Vtwin & V4 layouts make more sense, but the Cube will come into its own. It will just take time. I think the real task will be holding on to the talent they have now for next season. Both Haga & CE expect to be given a competative machine in which to campaign on. Aprilia will have to step-up.

Well, let's hope he burns up the track a bit less literally tomorrow....!

Well 15th place is not exactly burning anything up, but gas. Haga seemed quite tiffed after his get-off. He even as far as running out on the track or something. What about Gibernau taking it to Rossi. Bayliss was able to keep it in 3rd. Him & Biaggi had quite a battle going until Biaggi decided to take a closer look at the gravel . Thus handing Caporossi 4th place.
1st - Honda
2nd - Honda
3rd - Ducati
4th - Ducati
I think this speaks volumes about the effort Ducati is putting out. :chug:

Here's the best sequence I've found of Colin's roast:
