Latest forecast is showing 40% chance of thunderstorms...I do not want another experience like at ECR a couple weeks back so everyone we need good wishes that the high pressure will stay in place and keep that low farther east than projected. Its still a long way off I know but I really don't want to waste another track day to rain...maybe this time we can get more than two sessions in though

...trust me....i am with you on that one too.
It is still early to forecast anything, but we should see more accurate info by Fri/Sat.

TWS would be a peice of cak..er PIE to ride in the conditions present for most the day at the last ECR event. TWS has awesome traction from damp to avg. rain conditions. Those patches at ECR were hellascary.

As a matter of fact, I'd even go so far as to say Cresson in the mornings dry is slicker than TWS with moisture. :trust:

Yep, TWS is the best track we have for rain-ish conditions. Not only is traction decent in the rain, it dries very fast. So, if it does rain a touch, then it will only take a session or 2 for it to dry out...:rider:

...looks like weather is clearing up - so for those sitting on the fence, things are looking up....here is a link for weather forecast for College Station area - CLICK HERE (http://www.weather.com/outlook/health/fitness/tenday/USTX0270?from=36hr_topnav_fitness)

..the 30% the day after, would not worry about, at that location, pretty much all track days have 30-40% pop anyways, and they always pan out....wish I was there, but at least my bike will be, so that is half the fun, right?

He is recovering from a get-off a couple of weeks ago - air outside his lungs in the thorasic (sp?) cavity. So, he was genorous enough to lend his bike to my brother who will be in town from Colorado and riding in level 1.

For all of you coming to TWS this weekend, bring an extra $10 and get a new and improved RideSmart T-shirt! These are not the "heat-transfer" iron-on type from the past (although we still have some of those:D). These are very high-quality hand silk-screened shirts featuring the new logo you see on the forums as well as the new instructor paddock shirts.
So for this initial run, the promo price is $10 and will hold for TWS and probably until we sell the first batch.
Enjoy.

I'm new to Texas and this will be my first trackday here. I've done over 30 trackdays in Cali.

When I purchased the trackday online, it said it would ship out the "product" in 3-5 days.
???
???

I just show up right? If I'm supposed to get something in the mail, it'll never get to me in time? Is this a problem?

I think you just spoke to Dave. the shipping is for products that can actually be shipped. so it does not apply to track days and rental gear.
Please make sure to bring a receipt to the track with you.
