Route 66 revisited

Had a nice e-mail asking me to drop by so here I am.

I'm still getting my Route 66 ride organised. It's planned for June 2010. I'm doing a guided tour organised by a UK company so I'll be flying to Chicago, picking up a bike there and taking it across to Santa Monica.

I know that many folks have done this before but it will be the biggest bike trip I ever done and my first bike trip outside Europe. If anybody is interested, I've started a blog about it to record the trip but also all the planning and research activities I'm doing in the run-up to it. Feel free to drop by and take a look.

Your in Lubbock, everywhere you go from there is a long trip!













Route 66 would be fun, well whats left of it and the old stops.

Ya. Lubbock is in the middle of no where.

If you start from nowhere, everywhere you go is somewhere, even if it's just 'else'.

I dont know why people say lubbock is a bad city. If they didn't plow every square inch of land around and IN lubbock it would be nice.

Houses can get ridiculously expensive.
