Info needed for RV spot in AR.

I am looking for an RV Spot in Ar. or Ok. I would like it to be in a cool place on a river. We are going mid July. That is the reason for cool.
Do you guys know of a place like that?

Glad you asked that question as I'm thinking along the same line. Altitude and shade are your friends when looking for a cool spot in July. Mount Magazine and Petit Jean SP are on my list, but I'm not worried about fishing.

Check out the camping spots along the Caddo river up stream from Glenwood AR and also check out the camp sites on the Ouachita from Lake Ouachita up stream.

Buffalo River National Park is beautiful and right on the river. Has RV hook-ups and is better for RVs than any national park I've seen.
