Planning a Big Bend trip in October. The wife and I are looking forward to enduro riding, hiking and taking it all in. Anybody else heading to Big Bend/Terlingua in October?:welcome:

Well, I'm going solo to Big Bend at the end of this month so...I guess I'm a little early.
We, as a family, went a couple years ago and split Terlingua House (http://www.terlinguahouse.com/) with another family. It was a blast. Hiking, climbing, and sometimes just looking.
We live there, so we'll be around ; )

Since you are goingto be in the Big Bend the weekend of Ride for Trails, you should check it out:
12th annual "Ride for Trails" motorcycle road rally, benefiting The Friends of Big Bend National Park, a non-profit organization, established in 1996. Proceeds raised goes directly to Big Bend National Park for youth corps and volunteer groups. www.ridefortrails.com

My Terlingua/Big Bend trip is now scheduled for October 17th -21st. Leaving DFW October 17th.
