I want to take my 4-yr old camping Saturday night, somewhere free or really cheap... Robinson City Park in Llano (on the river) allows camping for $1 per tent, but I don't know anything about the place and can't seem to find any pictures. So, questions:
1) Are there shady areas to camp near the river?
2) Does the river have shallow areas for little ones to play, or is the only water access above the dam (deeper I'll presume)?
3) Are campfires allowed, or are grills available for cooking?
I emailed the City asking the same questions, but knowing government communication pipelines, it might take a couple of days to hear back, only to get an answer like "yes, there is tent camping in the park" :lol2::roll:
Any description I can get is appreciated...
