:chug: Glad to be on board from Houston. I ride a Yamaha FJR 1300 and a BMW R1100RT. Ride mostly on week-end and extended week-end trips and day rides when weather permits. If there is anybody in the Houston area that needs an extra rider perodically, let me know.

Have you been to the HSTA Hill Country rally in late October or Early November the last few years? Last year there were quite a few FJR's there. The weather was lame so I did not get to do my usual tour through the parking lot to meet everyone and see the bikes.

I have met quit a few folks running the FJR's. I recently met some guys in Montgomery. One was sporting an FJR and his bud was on a Yam Venture Star but has his FJR on order. Both of these guys abosultely love the bike. I have to admit, when I first saw the released photos before the bike was available, I had to be careful not to drool on my keyboard. I really like the silver, but if only they offered it in a metallic cobalt blue. I'd have to seriously consider trading in the VFR. This is even more true with all the updates they have incorporated into the new 2004 models :-)

If you know any other FJR riders or hang out at any FJR specific list or sites, please let them know about us here. It would be really cool to get a good crossbrand representation here.
