RS Track Day - 8.15.2009 @ECR - FOLLOW UP

The event is still running, but we are putting this thread up so that any of you who participated can chime in on your experience and let us know how the day went. So go ahead. We greatly value your input.

For me I think it was a most excellent day. Great instructors great group of riders and of course the weather although a little hot in the afternoon was great. I want to thank Chris for doing a great job instructing and trying to convice me to move up a level. Your comments on my riding is much appreciated. Also a big thanks to Guy and the other lead instructors sorry I don't remember your names for the great pointers throughout the day.

Although one crash is to many, there were actually a lot fewer than other track events I have been to so my hats off to the riders of the day.

For me the only thing bad was me not drinking enough water last night because once the heat fatigue set in, it was over for me. I felt really crappy but had the common sense to skip the last session. In fact, I felt so low that I didn't even drive home I went and got me a hotel room for the night.

Great to Shiraz again and his buddy (sorry I don't do well with names today for some reason).

Long story short, lots of fun on and off the track, got to make some new friends and I feel my skills are once again honed just a little more.
