RideSmart has been considering an addition to our existing curriculum.
This curriculum is for 2up riders.
There has been some interest from a few people, in education for 2up riders. Our school is open to the idea and we are working closely with some key individuals who will help us investigate this possibility.
Please keep in mind that this program is in the very earliest stages of consideration and development. No key items were decided upon at this time. We are simply looking into potential curriculum and ways this could be implemented at RideSmart events.
We are definitely interested in ideas. If you have any, here is a list of those who are involved in planning aspects.
There are two groups of people who will drive certain aspects of this investigation:
1. Logistical/School integration
2. Educational
Thomas has been asked to lead the educational part of the investigation of this program. He will gather any pertinent material, and will present for a review some time down the road. If any of you have input you think will be valuable, please PM us for contact information for Thomas.
Jason and Slavek will ensure that any proposed program will be properly integrated into the school. Official announcements will come in the form of threads in any of the motorcycle forums in TX, and will come from the username RideSmart. Any posts or threads from users other than RideSmart should not be considered as reliable/accurate information.
If you have input that you think is valuable, please PM us for contact information to any of the lead people.
We do understand that many of you are very eager to help with RideSmart. We thank you for your enthusiasm, and really welcome it. However, it is crucial that you follow certain channels to submit your ideas. Creating threads about gathering info, etc, is not very helpful to RideSmart.
If you have information that you believe is good, please contact a person from one of those two groups. They will be happy to speak to you.
If this program is to succeed, all planning and preparation has to be in an organized manner. We truly appreciate your help in respecting our plans, and your input in an appropriate manner.
Thank you. Stay tuned. This thread will serve as a vehicle for information updates regarding this proposed program.
