Bow before Gizmo - Destroyer of Worlds

"What are you looking at, puny human? Don't make me jump on you."

My latest focus has been on improving my use of on camera flash. I've got a promaster 7500 flash that I can both swivel and bounce. I bounced these shots of my son's sugar glider (a small marsupial from Papa New Guinea) off the ceiling - either directly above me or above and behind me.
1/30th of second, f5.6, 55mm focal length, bounced flash for both pics.
In this shot of Stuntman Jeff I bounced the light right and behind me into the ceiling for a bit more directional light. 1/30, f5.0, 43mm focal length

I think these shots are worlds better than simply hitting the subject with a straight flash.
