Copied the idea from another forum, thought it could be fun.
Like the title says, take you bike to work, and take a pic of it. That simple.
I'll start it off. I had to work yesteday (Labor Day), so I decided to ride the XR400 and have some fun.

Ben Bostrom, from the motorcycle show in Dallas, probably '99?

I don't think I can get mine in the elevator, so I'll just take one in the parking lot soon.

I could probably get mine in the elevator, just don't think security would be too happy with it!

Ben Bostrom, from the motorcycle show in Dallas, probably '99?Yup, and I have the Doug Polen from the next year as well. That was before Ducati got lame and stopped bringing their stars to sign autographs. I have to say, both were very patient and gracious during the autograph sessions. :thumb:
I don't think I can get my bike into my office....In fact, I know I can't. Heck, the old Supermoto would have handled the stairs better in the first place. I'll have to get a shot in the parking garage though. Have to think of a creative way to do it.

well they're no elevator here, but anything much bigger than a dirtbike would have had major issues getting around the corner in the hall.
we have an upper deck area for storing material in the shop, I started to ride up there, but the landing at the top of the stairs is really short, like 4' short. If you don't do that one just right you end up back on the ground level, the only railing is a flimsy wood railing

My building doesn't have a large freight elevator. I'd have to wheelie the bike to get it to fit in the lift. While Jean-Pierre Goy has shown an LT can wheelie, I can't nor do I want to try it.

dukey, put a little ramp in the freight elevator, like a foot or so long. Then just go in and roll that front wheel up the ramp and up the wall. Stand it up 12 o clock and your good to go.

At the old office, it used to sit and stare at me through the window until I would have to close the blinds. Some days, I could swear I would hear it whining for me like some lonesome puppy.

Here at the new office, it stays in the garage at the other end of the building so I don't have to listen to it.

No fair, I don't have a job right now! And before that I worked at home so I'd get kicked up if I even could manage to get one of the bikes up the stairs.

I can't figure out if I missed a bike change - I think I'm just losing track. Chuck commented that he was behind the ball getting pics of you and bikes while at the pie run, but I thought I recognized the beemer?

I sent you a picture when we were discussing how to put the Guzzi in your garage. You knew about it before anyone else. :trust:

Bellaire Fire Station will be demolished after 55 years of providing its emergency responders a home away from home. Overdue, but nevertheless a lot of character that will turn to dust.
