They're putting down new blacktop on 2244(Bee Caves Rd) where it intersects 360. i think it's just a 1 or 2 miles stretch. this morning it is just the center lane that is new and a couple inches higher. so for the next few days watch for edge traps if you have to go down this part of 2244.

I want to find the morons that resurfaced Braker from 183 to Burnet and Lamar from 183 to Koenig. Weeks later it is still full of loose gravel. :argh:

Same problem on Dessau (685) from Parmer down to Braker & also out on Lime Creek Road

Seems that Travis County has gone cheap-o chip seal crazy lately & are leaving the loose "chips" everywhere...

I'm with Kurt--it's been a month or more for Braker to be chip sealed from Lamar to MoPac--I ride it to and from work. I did see a sweeper out early on working on the loose gravel at turn cuts--that helped some.

They still haven't restriped -- gets a bit hairy in the dark AM when the cages are wandering all over because they can't/won't see the lane markers:giveup:

Anything to save our tax dollars, I guess....

I gotta say the newly resurfaced Hamilton Pool road is superb....just up to the low-water crossing.
