Use this thread for posting shots previously taken, or current shots asking questions, or just talking about the assignment. We'll open up a different post for you to post your actual submission entry. Your submission entry can be something new or one you posted here, but the picture HAS to be taken between now and Monday Oct 19th midnight. A winner will be chosen sometime after midnight Monday and announced at that time. The winner will then post the next two week assignment topic and so forth.

Starting out with the October theme, here is a pic of a ghost (kinda) attacking my wife...messing around with Tv setting a couple nights ago. Another of a ghost hand turning up the volume in the car.

Let's see your best Halloween themed pic, good opportunity to play with shadows, low lighting, etc...or running in and out of the frame in the middle of an exposure!

Kind of boring compared to the 'ghost' pics, but this critter did show up a few years ago.....

I guess it turned out to be a harder topic than I thought....

I guess it turned out to be a harder topic than I thought....

I'm thinking the 'creativity' aspect is the hard part..... I see lots of opportunity for pumpkin patch type of shots, colors changing and the like all representing halloween. But being creative, I know I'm really having to 'think' about this one. I do however have a few ideas I'm toying with.

Slow shutter speed, then just walk into (or out of) the exposure.
