Strange exhaust

A mate of mine asked if i could find any info on the exhaust on his bandit.
Im thinking maybe its home made?

Anybody know anything about it?

The arrow system has retention springs i believe. That looks like all welds except for where it attaches to the engine. i'd like to know more about the header also. Any pictures of it installed? Is it from a 1200 or 1250?
