Do any of these guys wear goggles, or do they just wipe the mud from their eyes & go on?:eek2:

Yes we wear goggles but with mud and water and several of your favorite buddys slinging mud and water at you from a 450 they last about 1/4 mile. I went through my tear off's and goggles in the first 5 minutes. And trust me I don't like taking them off branches bad, mud from other racers you can try to avoid but the mud from your own bike comes at you on the straightaways at a very high rate of speed and you cant avoid those. Yes my left eye still hurts today.

Mati I don't see a problem posting link on our tccra site. I will double ck to be sure for you. Also I didn't even see you in that corner, should have been there on my last lap that big root ended up getting cut in two and it went inside my boot, nearly ripped me off the bike, oh well teach me to limber these old muscles up and get my foot higher. PS I like my photo you take great pics.

funny... I found the first corner I took pictures in (see pic below) while scouting before the race and I thought it will be a great spot, then I thought "Wowww, this is unpassable!!! - the'll be a blood bath here" I was SURE that they will cancel the that section. the tight angel, steep climb and the ruts were (in my opinion ) too much....

Guess how surprised i was to see the riders go over it like there was nothing to it.... I just wish there was a better way for me to capture that corner..:thumb: to the riders

Thanks for your support. I had a good time and hopefully next time I'll be able to stay longer.

I was watching you through the race, couldn't figure out how did you have the courage to ride with no elbow guards...

Your welcome. Some-one asked where the pics came from that outlaw posted on tccra.org so I posted some info about you and your awesome country side pics.
When its wet and muddy which parts of this track was. It bothers me to have on long sleeves so I take a page out of hunting and winter riding and wear a synthetic type under armor shirt, with no long sleeve shirt, elbow pads to me are just waiting to be caught on limbs.
Next time you come out i would enjoy talking cameras with you. I'm getting ready to buy something that will take nice action pics. D or xti maybe?? Todd Broom any official can point you toward me in tccra. I will do most toro also.

I think I'll head up to the Tsces Race this weekend and the following one go see the MX race in Oak hill. here's a link to my photoshooting calender - http://www.matikrimerman.com/Calendar.html. But in case I'll make it to the next TCCRA race I'll be happy to meet. Just give me a shout when you see me.

If I won't make it, I found some good links for you as faras buying a camera

http://www.dpmag.com/how-to/shooting/ultimate-sports-action-tips.html

My initial tips are:
1.before choosing a camera you have to think whether you already have compatible lenses you want to use or not. if you do stick to that brand
2.I assume you are not looking to go pro so you can actually use any brand (and they all are pretty good this days - it does not have to be Canon-Nikon)
3.remember that a good lens does half the work
4.set a budget - this stuff can get very expensive without noticing..

let me know if you have anymore questions. I can't really say I know the cameras that are out there today since I had mine for years now but I am looking to (maybe) upgrade to the Canon 7D in the future..;-)

I totally forgot - if you don't have to get all the latest features (live mode, video recording and a billion of mega pixels you ain't never gonna use anyway) you might do a lot better by buying a used camera. you'll get a better image that's for sure and it might even be a lot cheaper.. here's a good place to look for one UsedCameras.com (http://www.usedcameras.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=2836)

for 1K you can get a professional Canon 1Ds !! and for less then $400 you can get the same camera like I have (canon 20D), and for $700 you can get the 40D which is twice better...

It's a good place to get lenses as well (at least as far as the price). I have never bought anything from them but it looks like a good deal. and I think they even have a warranty that you can buy. Makes buying a new Rebel look less attractive...
