Post your single entry for Photo Assignment #18 - "I'm hungry, let's eat" in this thread.

Your photograph has to have been taken between November 9th and Monday, November 23rd midnight.

Please refrain from commenting on photographs (yours and others) in this thread until after the winner has been selected. Any comments posted prior to the announcement of a winner will be deleted. Photographs should stand on their own for your interpretation of "I'm hungry, let's eat".

You may post only one entry, but you may change it any time until midnight, Monday, November 23rd.

I'm suprised there were only three entries on this one. There must be a LOT of skinny motorcycle riders on TWT who don't eat???? :mrgreen:

Inspite of only three entries, I found the decision difficult to choose a winner. I can't imagine if there had been dozens. Wow.

Mad skills on the creativity aspect. The concept of a chocolate dipped strawberry is an undertaking in and of itself. I like the way the chocolate dripped down that far and the capture of it as well. Just my opinion, but I think the strawberry could have been a bit more true to red and the leaves to their green. Then IMO it would have just 'popped' at you. But creativity, by all means 100%. Technically, I liked the beer bottle one better but that wasn't the entry.

Duke-
Nothing speaks of comfort food like fresh chocolate chip cookies out of the oven. I was wishing for a scratch-n-sniff monitor on your shot. I like the gentle colors and especially the full-frame aspect of the shot. Your off-camera lighting practice seems to be gaining traction as it wasn't harsh light. I wonder what it would have looked like with more focus to the right???

To me, your shot captured a happy moment in life. It's whimsical. It's fun. I think it could almost have been an advert for something tagged "...after the party" with just a little work on the lighting and the top left of the frame. I count eight candles. I didn't think you were eight OR eighty! Must be some other ratio, eh?

The original assignment mentioned:
...framing/composition, lighting, depth of field, shadows, lack of distractions, and message to be conveyed.

Tom's was uber-creative, Duke's made me hungry and Voni's stirred emotions.

I kept trying to post up a picture but I ate what I was i was shooting...:eat:

I had one of my mascot at a roadside picnic, but it wasn't during the Entry period.:giveup:

But the food entries were kinda neat, and an interesting idea.
