As much as being able to technically operate your camera, it seems like composition is the area that challenges me the most to improve. Although I'm still learning the technical in's and outs of my camera, I also want to improve my composition skills beyond the basic "rule of thirds"

some random gleanings...
shoot subjects on the level or looking up at them. shooting down diminishes them.
ABC: acutely sharp, bright against dark, colored against monochrome
Avoid distractions on the edge
Avoid background on the subject
Avoid kissing edges
