Have ridden on this gem twice now. Accessed from 965 by enchanted
rock, it runs parallel between 16 and 965 all the way back down to fburg
(About 20 miles).
Road best accessed from 965 on the North end or eckert lane from the
middle (almost straight across 1323 when it dead ends into 16
This video right here (http://www.putfile.com/media.php?n=erock6a) (10 mb )shows the entrance from 965
Road conditions similar to willow city loop. Traffic was light
Special thanks to Stevie for his contribution

There are some low water xings (maybe no longer dry)
and the usual loose livestock
and numerous cattleguards. Mostly the road is ike this

Another road worth looking at, and works well as part of this loop
is CR 111, which runs east -west between 2323 and 965. As
mentioned earlier, watch out for loose livestock like this leaper

And various vids of the area.

This was part
of a much larger loop. We took 183 to Lampasas,
then west on 580 to 501. That leads to 16
at cherokee, south to LLano, South on 2323, east
on 111. Find your way back to Austin, about 350 smiles later
, more stills

Best,

Paging Irondawg: wasn't this the road we took after eating at Cooper's in Llano that one time? I think we took this turn right after you'd spent a few miles getting flashed by spunky college girls in a car, right? :-D

It was kinda fun on the RST, would've been more fun on the DR...

Just as many BlueBonnets in the Spring as Willow City Loop and much less traffic ;-)
