I got fooled this morning, though. I saw the sun out when I got dressed and assumed it would be reasonably warm. WRONG. It was in the high thirties when I left the house a bit after 7 this morning. I thought my fingers were going to fall off.

This afternoon was absolutely beautiful, though. I was lucky and had a meeting off-site so I got to ride right in the middle of the day when it was in the high sixties and sunny as a day at the beach. Tomorrow is supposed to be even better!

Ah :moon: ,

This day sucked. I had total plans to take a long lunch run out Lime Creek road. BUT, I got caught up in a meeting though lunch. No biggie, I just figured I would take off early then and head out for a ride before heading home tonight. No dice, got a message at 2pm that I had a conference call @ 4 that required my attendance :tears: . Of course while sitting in the call it becomes obvious that I really didnt need to be there and now I just want to kill :biggun: someone for ruining my fun (hey, its only work).

And now it looks like its going to be good weather here this weekend and I have to go out to cold and cloudy NC :headbang: .

So to all you squids who are going to be out cutting up the pavement this weekend I pass along my first offical :pound:

That's too bad, Andy. You missed a great one. There should be plenty of time for riding this spring/summer, though. That's one advantage of Texas, LONG riding season! :chug:

I rode this a.m., first time for a week and a half. How come my commute is a rat-race in the car, but Heaven-Sweet on the bike??? 8)

Re: not being able to get away due to work -- this is why I stay vewwy quiet at work, avoid meetings, and stay unimportant....
