To All,
I have some days off this week and I will be out on the bike Tuesday. I thought I would drop a line and see if anyone else out there would like to do some riding. I am planning on meeting a friend (who will be renting a Harley) at 290 and Hwy 6 and then heading north from there I am sure. If for some reason any of you business types out there happen to be off during the week and want to do some casual riding, drop me a line here.
Kelly
PS I will be out on the Bike Wednesday also if the weather is still good.

I am sorry to say that I am still using AOL but tonight I am on duty at the fire station and using the city computer.

I'm curiuos to know what it costs to rent a bike. There are times that my bike is down that it would be useful.

Spider,
My buddy gets them for about $100 per day for the big 88 ci bikes. I am pretty sure that the 1200 and 883 are some what cheaper. The 2 places that he rents from are Mancuso HD off of 290 and Republic HD down in Sugarland. I think that there are some other charges like insurance and such but that is the ball park figure.

Dray,
:tab Your info shows that you are in Dallas. King's Cafe is in Montgomery, Tx., just West of Conroe off of I-45. From DFW that is about three hours! Are you seriously going to get down here for a bike night? There are several places in DFW that do bike nights. Lower Greenville Ave. in Dallas is a popular area. There is a place called the Blue Goose that has a regular meet on Tuesday evenings. Some of the other DFW people here on the board could probably clue you into the local stuff better than me.
:tab By the way, welcome to the site!

Scott,
Deryl is a buddy of mine who I met on a Bandit web site not long ago. He and I went on a ride together a few months back. Yesterday, I got intouch with him again to direct him to twtex.com and to inform him of the upcoming Thursday night. He actually lives here now and I am pretty sure he will be there along with me this coming Thursday.
Is anyone going to get to Montgomery early enough to take a ride up 149? I have the whole day off and can be up there at any time if anyones else is going to make it. Drop me a line here and let me know.
Kelly
