Doubt that SabreScoot and I can make it to Llano this time. Putting the Hard 8 in Stephenville on the calendar though. I hear the Hard 8 is absolutely great.
Scott and I went to a place in Tyler called "Armadillo Willys" last Sunday. It's not a BBQ place, but a steakhouse and saloon. I did have one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. They have a "stuffed" burger which you can get stuffed with bacon or jalepanos or mushrooms. Everything is grilled over an open flame - yummy.
In case you want a change of pace:

I stopped at The Hard 8 on the way to OKC for Father's Day, it was very good. Hopefully a bunch of the DFW folk can make it next month.

Visited the Hard 8 in Stephenville a couple of months ago trying to catch up to one of Sharkey's Sunday tours. I'm ready to go back!

DILLO BURGER!!!
That and the Seahorses(spicy grilled shrimp with bacon wrapped around them). It is a good place to eat. I kept them in business for a while...ate there for lunch everyday for about 6 months. That's the reason I went from 180 lbs. to 230 lbs. FYI: A couple times I got a stuffed burger during the lunch rush and it was a little pink in the center but tasted great. I just made sure to tell them well-done from then on.

Looks like I can make this after all. I might be bringing a couple of guys with me too. Friday is my birthday so this will be a good present.
Any plans for the Austin group to meet up?

I won't be along on this. My daughter made the 7th grade volleyball team and her first tournament is tomorrow. Have fun and ride safe.
ps - I will ride over to watch the tournament, so all is not lost.

The Georgetowners are leaving at 10 from Southwestern U. , we are going to head up 29 for the quickest trip up.
I'll keep a look out for the blue Connie
I'm out. The Connie has a dead battery. Won't hold a charge, time to replace it.

I hate to say this, but I am out also....I have a stomach bug which hit me last night. I was hoping it would be alright this morning, but it isn't.

BUMP! I can't go on this ride, but was just wondering if it is still on? I haven't seen anyone mention it lately...
