Howdy,

:tab It will be the last Thursday of the month next week. Once again we are doing a bike night at Kings Cafe in Montgomery between 7-9pm. It is one block North on FM 149 at the intersection of FM 149 and Hwy 105. Hope to see you there!

That would be really convenient if I lived by my work, since I work about 7 miles from there. Instead, I live 48 miles from work. Suppose I could plan on "working really late" next Thursday. ;)

Spider,

:tab Often times folks will meet early at the cafe or nearby and do the run out to Richards and back before the 7:00pm start. Also, this is not real formal so being there right at 7:00pm is not a big deal. Although, you don't want to be as late as Dan was last time ;-)

Scott,
We would love to make it up there this evening and show off the new Burg, but we have football practice till 8:00 p.m. It is time to make a run down 149 on the scooter and "evaluate" the cornering clearance. Oops, bet the wife's gonna read this... She has been riding the Burgman and enjoying it every night. She'll have taken the MSF beginner's course and have a license within a month I bet. Maybe we'll see yall at the next one.

:tab Beth and I are going. I think Debbie will try to make it as well. Usually a few of the HSN folks will show up as well. Sometimes we get a lot of people, sometimes we don't. Never know.

I will be getting up that way early and riding up 149. Keep an eye out for me and my Bandit. I'll have the silver JR Phoenix jacket and the black helment. If I come across you guys I will turn it around and ride into King's with you. My buddy Deryl also said he would try to make it. See ya tomorrow.

Me neither. I've come down with my annual Fall season cold. Sneezing with a helmet on is no fun. :( I'm getting tired of missing bike night! :angryfir:

:tab Had a nice turnout, twelve people I think. When we left, several of Montgomery's finest were in the cafe and saw us leaving. After getting gas and heading North into the forest, we passed them on the edge of town. They were sitting on the side of the road, lights off, waiting... Debbie was leading so we were cruising about ten mph under

That's the nice thing about a bike that will only do the speed limit. Or so I'm told.

Sorry I couldn't make it last night. The work thing, you know. :|
