I like them both from a content perspective.
Yet either it's my monitor, or to me, the colors look over-cooked in #1, specifically the blues on the jeans and sloughing over to the blacks on the holster/leather gear.

Yeah...I bumped up the saturation on the blues and reds to accentuate the colors versus the subject.

I am digging the steam coming off the hand, (out of the jacket???) on #2.

Unfortunately, that is not steam....that was a sweet mixture of dust/OC/CS/ and whatever other agents had been introduced to the shoot house over the years to make the SWAT guys use gas masks during training!!!
My sinuses haven't been that clear in years!!!
And yes, I spent about three hours in that house shooting different scenarios...however, I did leave when they decided to add fresh gas to the house.
