Have a 1982 Virago 920 in the shop and it has the starter issues that all tend to suffer from to some degree. This one would spin the starter but wouldnt engage the clutch at all.

I ordered the Dr. Virago powerclip and washer set and installed in the bike. Really simple mod as all you do is replace existing parts. Well, it fixed the problem totally. Its a little on the pricey side for the kit, but the starter engages everytime now.

I am not affiliated with them in any way, shape, or form. Nor am i a dealer for them. This is my first experience with the powerclip and thought i would share my experience. I say go for it
