Rain Rain Go Away!!

Howdy,

Well, it is finally a beautiful day. I'm stuck at work looking out the window wishing I was on the bike. So I thought, no biggie, I'll get in some vicarious saddle time watching the AMA racing at Daytona on the tube. We're slow at work, this will be great!

NOT!! :tears:

It is pouring down rain in Daytona. So SpeedTV runs four back to back episodes of American Thunder :suicide: Well, at least they didn't start showing NASCAR reruns :puke:

At last check, they had the jet driers on the track and were talking about showing some racing. However, the AMA had not decided which class would go racing.

So here I sit... watching a spectacular day slipping away... :cry:

Right there with ya, man. I had a meeting over lunch so took an hour or so this afternoon to hit the gym. I flipped on the tube intending to watch Daytona, but no joy. :tears:

I'm headed out of town for the weekend riight after work so no bike for me today. Hopefully the weather will last into next week. We'll see.

I went riding at lunch hour.When I got back to work boss said take off at two. Far be it from me to argue with the boss. Drove from Hutto to Lexington on Hwy 619 great road no traffic just smooth twisties.

Yeah, I thought I'd take off about 4:30 since we had been slow all day. I did not even make it home before the pager was buzzing in my pocket. So about 6:15, I finally get on the bike and head out. Beth riding her 98 VFR with me. We had a great ride. As we came back in the door, the pager starts going off again... I hope it is not like this all weekend :roll:

The 2nd most fabulous riding time of the year is fast approaching! March through June.

September through December is better because there's less rain, but our 2nd best primo riding time is here!!!!
