Just thought I would share a few pics from Operation Back To The Basics (Dec10-Jan11). This operation took places in in planes and various places in France.

Please be gentle I don't own a fancy camera... all pics (except last one) taken with my trusty iphone. Lat one is only included to demonstrate my lack of dancing skills.

Well, iphone or not, you have a great eye for photographs. Paris is one my most favorite cities. I used to office out of Montrouge for a short time, visited there frequently for business.

I can spend a week in the Louvre and never get tired, thanks for sharing.

Thank you!

Paris is my home town but yet I've never lived there as an adult :( maybe one day...maybe

An iPhone did that? Wow. I know a lot of folk that use fancy DSLR's and software to get the same effects on those abstract building shots. Nice job.

You have a gift, I would urge you to get a camera and share that gift with others. You understand that there are surprising views in mundane things, and that there are elements to a moment that make it a memory. Being able to capture those views and moments and translate them to people who can't see those things is quite uncommon. I tend to be of similar orientation; I see things around me all the time... beautiful and amazing things that my family and friends simply don't; the images elude them. Then they're dazzled when I pull my camera out and snap a photo.

Here's an example. While this is by no means a particularly good photo and it certainly isn't anywhere near my favorite, but it conveyed something specific that the woman I was shooting for was after. She was floored... she just stood there with her mouth agape and said "That's so clever!" It was just something that caught my eye at the moment. LOL, I kind of think it looks like a cave painting...
