I really am starting to enjoy owl pictures. Not sure why, but there's just something about those big old eyes and beaks which I find interesting.
As for the shots, I think they turned out about as well as they could with the light I surmise you had to work with. If the sun had been out or the birds were in the sun itself (#1/#2), they really could have 'popped'. #3 was trying.... Still, nice composure on them. If you get the chance to post more on a sunny day, I'd sure be interested in seeing them.
