Wondering if it's just me.......my computer locked up (2 times) while trying to leave this site. Anyone else?
It didn't work for me (I tried twice), but it never locked my computer up...

Mine did the same thing. What OS are you using?
No problems... someone needed to say what a "shoot out" is....I just "shot" some words. The site worked perfectly with Mac OS X.

This is pretty cool. I assumed the "shout-out" box to imply that we can elect to provide some kind of contact information, so I entered my phone number there.
<edit> My box locked up exiting that site too. Using Win98/I-Exploder on this computer. Any XP users have a problem? Perhaps using a different web browser would resolve the conflict.

I've found 98 and ME to have a lot of Java Script problems with newer sites. You can thank Bill Gates' greed I reckon. Always gotta be buying a new system every six months.

I am using XP SR2 and didn't have any problems, even on exit. Also use IE6.
I suspect the Win9x series (including ME) will have problems with it...
Perhaps an attempt using Firefox?

nice, one of the guys over on STn put togeather something like this but it requires you to put in your lat, long cordinates, a little annoying.
BTW it worked fine on OS X 10.4 and Safari. haven't tried it with a MS box

Mine Worked but I jsut did this on the ST-Owners.com site. The I-35 Corridor is certainly well represented as is the Houston Area. Nice to see the out-of-staters throwin' in with us.

For what it's worth, we've got 106 people signed up and the COG site only has 146 so far. That's not really important, but it was an easy way to just bump this back up to the top.
By the way John (I assume you're the admin of the map) if you allow TWT to be in the Frapper database people will be able to search for it and see it in the "Browse Other Maps" section. Right now you can't do either.
I think we broke it. When I click on one balloon, a different one shows it's info.

I think we broke it. When I click on one balloon, a different one shows it's info. Philip, try drilling down so that the balloons separate a little more and try it again. If someone else is in the same zip code and logged on before you their balloon will be in front and your's will be directly behind it.

Actually, we need to find out who the Admin is. I believe it's John Bennett since he started the thread. The Admin can correct issues on the site.

Cool..I'm glad I did a search here first. I have started a couple of Frapper maps at other forums. I was thinking about starting a TWT map but it's already done!
Here is one I started recently:

I wanted to do the same thing but according to the FAQ/Help, they won't allow defined waypoints, only zipcode-centered locations.

The software puts the pin at the 'geographic' center of the zip code you use.
The program does not allow you to input an exact location. For what reason, I don't have a clue! :-?

They have ZRs for sale regularly. Oops - saw you knew about it in another thread - nevermind!

Yeah, except it's super slab all the way.
Coming down here, I took 83 which starts in Swan River, MB and doesn't change highway numbers at all.
83 deadends in Laredo. It joins I35 just North of Laredo.
It's slab too but it's better than I35 all the way.

Welcome to the site Dragin
I did not know anyone was still using this. I was never really happy with it and just kind of ignored it. I've been looking at adding a better google based setup that works with the VBulletin software real nice. The only problem is that I don't know how good an idea it is for people to be able to see right where you live. It asks for a Long/Lat location. I guess you could put the location somewhere close by and not right on your house.

Which is exactly what I did.
We need to get those PNW folks, the Bandit owners around the country, and the international users to add some buttons to that map.
