Well a week after I bought the bike the speedo cable broke (that's August) then today I am driving home and again 70 to zero and nothing. Anyone have an idea what would cause this twice in a matter of a few months??? :help:
On the Concours, if not correctly routed, it would kink and break in a short perrid of time. Also, pull the inner cable and lube it when you get a new one.. Most of them are almost dry as shipped. Check a service manual for correct routing.

The dealership installed it because I have an extended warranty. Thanks for the info I will actually watch them install it next time. Make sure they lube it...
