Great White North, Eh!
I understand that you can't use a Corbin seat with the stock top case rack. What about the Sargent? Any clearance/fitment issues?

Also, anyone know the factory height setting on our bandits?

The seat ships in the low position. Here's a how-to on how to set it to the high position:

As far as the Sargent, take a look at replies #13 and #14 in this thread:

You might also consider a Spencer seat mod:

The front portion of my seat is Spencer modded, and it's considerably better than stock. Not, I suspect, as good as the Sargent, but quite a bit cheaper.

Unfortunately Spencer no longer accepts seats from outside the USA. I was wondering about the seat height in order to get the right one.

So, took the wife out to the garage to measure my seat. Somewhat surprised to find that seat measures 32" above the floor. Took the seat off and looked at the underside and it appears to be on the "low" settings.
Looking at the Sargent site it says 31.1" for both the Sargent and oem seat for low, so I am officially confused now:help:

Was your bike on the centerstand? Different preload settings could make a difference, or maybe Suzuki measures with the suspension compressed as it would be with a rider? Just guessing.

Sent from my Evo 4g on Sprint

I also have the Sargent seat and Suzuki top rack and have no issues. There isn't a lot of room but it does work.
