I would just like you guys to keep my Little Brother in your prayers....he left for Iraq today. His pic is in the banner a yellow Ducati making a nice rt sweeper. Anyway please pray that he returns safely home well and in one piece. It really sucks he has a 1 yr old and another on the way. He'll be gone for a year. Please pray for him. Thank You.
God Bless

:tab Tough thing to do. My Dad left for Vietnam five days after I was born and missed my whole first year. At least he came back though! I'll pray for both Ray and his wife/kids. It is pretty tough on the home front as well.
:tab Geez... Imagine having to go a year without your bike... :brainsnap
I will. And that the year passes quickly. Those kiddos need their daddy at home!
God's speed.
Best of luck to Ray and his unit. Tell him to stay safe.

We should keep your son's wife in our prayers too. The spouses and family of soldiers carry a pretty heavy burden as well, particularly when there are children to care for.

A good father is a blessing. A lot of children don't learn this until he or she is grown and reflect back. A father can "make" or "break" a person. I will. And that the year passes quickly. Those kiddos need their daddy at home!
God's speed.

My family and I thank you all. Hopefully the year will fly by so I can be back home with the wife and kids. Couple of days of leave in Leakey sound nice about right now.

Just your prayers for now, brother. I'll be doing better when I'm not in this petri dish they call a sleep tent. Everyone's sick. Hmmm...live like crap down here, or get shot at up there. I guess if given the choice, I wouldn't loose any sleep over not being shot at...lol. I'll stay tuned to the forums a much as time will allow. I appreciate all yalls thoughts and prayers, and my family appreciates them as well.

I will pray for Ray and His safety, His wife and her strength to run a family while he is gone.
Been in the same situation 14 years ago (Desert Storm). Left for Kuwait during my first semester at Texas A&M leaving a wife and 2 small kids ( my son who was 3 and my daughter who was one)

My oldest nephew is currently serving in Afghanistan (while his wife and two kids wait in Germany). Our family understand the fears you are going through, but they are doing a necessary job.
Tell your little brother that we appreciate his service and to keep safe.
God bless,
Lee

I truely appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers. I've been back for a couple of months now. It's been really hard getting into the swing of sitting around the house all day with my kids  and not doing anything.
Actually I'm back to work now. But I have learned that at 1700 there's nothing at work that can't wait till tomorrow.
BTW, TexasTri, excellent helmet graphics.
