I am going for a ride on Friday following Thanksgiving to run the dirt roads south of Kerrville. I know it's late notice, but if anyone wants to take advantage of the great weather you are welcome to come ride with me.
My plan is to leave Austin on Hwy 290 west Friday morning at 8 a.m. and head west and south to Comfort, TX mostly on secondary roads. From Comfort I'm going to do a loop south and west on the dirt roads in that area. I will loop back Comfort and then head back to Austin. It looks like it will be a fairly long day of about 300 miles and approx. 8 hours of riding.
