:help: Anybody out there know the procedure for tightening the chain drive tension on a '97 Honda Magna 750? I have read where guys say to check it periodically and adjust the tension, but I cannot find how to anywhere. The decal on the bike says the play should not be over 1 1/2 "

Place the bike on the side stand. Loosen the locking nuts (26 - see picture on attached link) on the ends of the swingarm, turn the adjusting nuts on each side (27) 1/2 turn at a time until you achieve the 1.5 inches of slack in the middle of the bottom run while moving the chain up and down. Tighten the locking nuts while holding the adjusting nuts with another wrench. Clean and lube the chain.
