Does any one subscribe or know any thing about this magazine ?:deal:

Looks interesting and I am thinking about it. I would go ahead and do it but the last magazine I subscribed to went belly up after I received two issues, has me gun shy.:duck: It was a fire arms magazine. :biggun:

I started getting it this year. It has a few good pics, but the magazine, IMHO, is poor quality. They don't even put captions under the photos to tell you what you are looking at and the editing is evidently done by a ninth grader.

It's about a one-trip-to-the-bathroom mag and you're finished with it. I won't be renewing.

I took it for a while , Don't waste your money unless you want to catch up on a few California DS rides . Most directed toward barely leagal dirt bikes , nothing for the adventure tour . SEYA

I just got my first issue. I have to agree, the writing needs work. The whole thing needs work, really, but the writing would be a good place to start. Darn right about the captions, too. Of course the first thing I noticed was that it's about 50/50 between advertising and content.

On the positive side, they're TRYING to cater to a niche market. There are a million people looking for street bikes, and a million more in the MX market, but apparently there are really only so many people willing to use the same bike to do it all. I imagine it's tough to start a magazine from scratch, and tougher still when you have a limited market. Hence the ad to content ratio, and the clearly underpaid (if paid at all) writers. It's too bad, because I think it's a good idea, or else I wouldn't have ordered a subscription.

Yeah I paid for a subscription and feel about the same way as the rest. I don't think I even read the last one.

On a related note... I picked up a copy of "Motorcycle Escape" and have liked it so far.

Thanks for the feadback.
Saved me some $$$$$
Sometimes I just like to do some reading from a magazine. There are some places that even the laptop does not go well:coffee:
Had hopes this one might be worth while. Guess I will just keep looking forward to the great DS ride reports here on TWT.

I like Trail Rider (http://www.trailrider.com/)

They focus on the east coast and are heavy into the enduro circuit, but they do cover DS. The writing is better than most.
