Andre and I are taking his KLR650 and my XR400 up to Rocky Ridge Saturday for a little fun. His first real off-road riding and mine in more years that I care to admit, so it should be a good time. :flip:
Good place to bring your DS bike and see what it's like offroad. Some climbs and technical stuff if you want to push it, but overall a good ride for all skill levels. We'll be leaving Addison about 0800 and getting up there around 0930 or so. Ride until we're tired and then head home in time for New Year's Eve stuff.
Probabbly park the truck (trailering due to my 400's gearing) in the big meadow on the left, bottom of first big hill on the main road. Look for a black Avalanche and open trailer.
http://tinyurl.com/7aw4e if you're not familiar with the location (600+ acres, $10 person to ride last time I was there). 35 to Sanger, west on 455, north on 51, 2-3 miles up on left you'll see the signs.
C'mon folks, bring out all the KLR's I keep seeing! ;-)
