A group of us will be riding at Crooked Creek Cycle park that is 15 minutes NE of Waco on New Year's Eve day. I think I have Whoa talked into coming and riding my spare dirt bike, but I'm sure he'd share if anyone else wants to come along. I'm expecting 15 or so of us of all skill levels...all on the sane side of speed so don't feel intimidated. It's a social thing too. We should have a small grill for cooking. Bring something for lunch and plenty of fluids. I will have a pop up awning and some chairs too.

We should get there around 10am (hopefully sooner, but I know how fast my crew gets going).

Dang, I've got to work. Been wanting to get back up there, guess I'll have to wait a little longer.

It is mostly trails with a small ungroomed MX track with a couple or five creek crossings. There is not a whole lot of sand but it can get dusty. If there has been any rain it can get slicker than greased owl snot on a door knob. The trail vary from short kids trails, ATV friendly (wide) to some what technical. It can be a fun place to ride and I like going up there from time to time but it is not one I would want to ride all the time. I would probably ride it more often if it was a little closer. We have a ride report somewhere on here, I'll try and find them and send you a link. Here is one of the pictures from one of the TWT rides at Crooked Creek.
