Ozark is in the western section of Ark just east of Fort Smith and west of Clarkville. It is a small town with limited places to eat but are all within walking distance. There is a liquor store just around the corner and a nice pool to sit around and relax.

I used this as a stopping place after trailering my bike from Dallas to Mena Ark where I left my trailer and met some other bikers ( who rode from Dallas) on the Talimena Parkway. From the Talimena we drove to Ozark and stayed for the night and then headed out to Mountian Home the next day.

How's bike parking around there?

My biggest concern is always the security of the bike when staying somewhere overnight.

Had no problem with parking. The Motel is set back from the main highway so only the guest would see your bike. There was plenty of space to park a trailer if need be and the lighting was good. We locked our bikes together for added security and they were parked out side our rooms.

I'll second this as a great place to stay. Inexpensive, clean, run by nice folks.

It's also close to great riding. Just take 23 N out of town (AKA the Pig Trail) or a loop around Mt. Magazine.

:tab Has anyone ever noticed that it is always the really paranoid person whose bike is stolen or messed with? :-P I have lived carefree and blissfully ignorant in such regards. I generally just run a long cable lock through the centerstand and front tire. This keeps someone from getting the bike off the centerstand. Then I just put the bike cover on and go to bed. The cover generally helps the bike keep from attracting attention in the first place. So far no problems. *knock on wood* Some guys will go so far as to wheel their bikes into their first floor hotel rooms and will not stay somewhere unless they can have a ground floor. :roll:

It is a motorcycle oriented motel. Mostly H-D oriented from the pics, but still MC oriented.
