For those that don't know what a hero is, this kid can define it. He was mortally wounded in the chest, yet had the presence of mind, the composure and determination to stay on his weapon and continued to provide his buddies cover fire. He will be remembered by many for a long time to come.
Scott, I saw someone shooting pictures and wondered if it was you. I didn't have time for a good look. Nice pictures and please accept our thanks and pass them on to your buddies that helped make that escort happen. Its appreciated by the riders and families more than you can know. I remember when we didn't get that kind of support. It was a much different experience.
