So, I did this on a cruiser, but you could do on any bike, really.
Problem:
My crash bars have compound curves, and my el-cheapo highway pegs only mount at a 90 degree angle. This limits where I can place my pegs, because on the lower portion of the bars, where I'd really like them, the pegs end up slanting down, making it hard to keep my feet on them. Unacceptable.
Solution:
Kuryakyn makes an adjustable clevis mount, using a set screw. I saw that and started pricing stuff and holy crap! I can drill a hole, tap it and put a set screw in it! Geez!
So, 20 minutes later, this is what I have. Tomorrow I'll cut the tops off the set screws, maybe drop some JB Weld on there or something to help the loctite hold the screw.
