Hey all,
I just moved down to the big thicket area, Burkeville, to spend some time getting to know my grandparents (getting elderly way too fast for my peace of mind). I've been riding ~10 years, lots of commuting, some dirt biking, some touring; all in the pacific northwest/california area.
I have a little bike right now, a ninja 250, which unfortunately is sitting in a friends garage up north. I hope to fly up and ride it down sometime this summer or as soon as I can arrange it.
Saw one of the group rides this weekend come thru town and got the website from one of the riders.

Howdy Rachel,

I was the one you were talking with :-) Glad you found your way here. Hope you can get the bike down here soon, you're missing some of the best riding time of the year ;-) We had a great time on the ride yesterday. It was a long one, 400 miles for me and over 500 for some of the folks from Houston. My write up is here:

03/15/03 East Texas Ride (http://www.twtex.com/viewtopic.php?t=94)

I hope we can hook up and do some riding sometime. Keep an eye on the board, if we are doing rides out in your area, you'll see it here.

Adios,
