Super Bowl Weekend Ride

Tony Eeds and I have been talking for a while about exploring the area of West Texas from Van Horn West and South of IH10.....Since neither of us can sit still long enough to watch a football game we decided that Super Bowl weekend would be the perfect time for this.
We'll get to Van Horn later in the day on Thursday February 2nd and spend the Friday and Saturday exploring....We'll be back home Sunday night.
For sure we'll ride the "Lost Trail" in the opposite direction back down to Presidio....After that it'll be "fly by the seat of the pants" wherever we end up.

What days are you planning to ride? ****, what weekend is that? What kind of bikes? Thats a long haul for me but I could ride on a friday and saturday. I would need sunday to get back home.

We'll ride Feb 3rd and 4th, Friday and Saturday....Return home on Sunday.
So far we have 2 XR650Rs and 2 DRZ400s all street legal....Almost all the riding should be off the pavement, much on ungraded roads and washes.....Daily mileage shouldn't exceed 300.
We'll spend Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights in Van Horn.
Two riders from Austin, one from Tomball and one from Dallas....So far.
