Last minute DS ride today 2-11-06

Okay it is 10 am Saturday morning and it is 45 deg. here in Tomball. This is very last minute due to not knowing exactly what the weather was going to do. I am meeting fellow KLR rider James Cain at the Texaco in Montgomery at 11:30 am this morning. I have a rough sketch of the county roads that we will take, it is going to be 70% dirt roads and 30% paved. The route is going to take us up near the west trail head then cr roads to Shiro then cr roads to Bedias then cr roads back up to the Huntsville area. If anyone wants to meet up call me on my cell at 281-793-1912. If I don't answer right away I am riding.:rider: It is a little windy but aaah it is to nice to be sitting at the house. I think tomorrow 2-12-06 Dave Kenney and Bill Perego wants to take the KLR's to ColdSpring to the HOP for a old car show, I will post more details tonight.:mrgreen:

I'm going to get a ride in tomorrow somehwere. I thought about trailering up north to the SHNF area and poking around (I've never been there before). It'd be great to meet up with some other riders so if it happens and you're looking for others please post some details. Thanks

I had the best of intentions for Sunday but.... I left the office Friday afternoon with chills and probably a slight fever. I keep telling my wife I'm feeling better but its only half true. I told Bill I'm out but you might check with him. My plan is
live to ride another day.

Sorry, but I am feeling like a caught a cold after today's ride, my bones have just now thawed out after all that wind. I am not going to be riding tomorrow, Dave I'll catch ya'll another time. I hope you feel better. Magus, maybe next weekend, I went by the west traihead and it was closed around noon today. It might be open tomorrow, there are always the fire roads to ride.

Ahhhh Sunday morning, I feel better than I thought. I might have to make a ride today if it warms up. I posted a ride report from yesterday's burger run sorry it was a last minute ride.
