I notice that the version of Vbulletin here is more recent
than advrider, where i can imbed videos (http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=116867) ,but it doesn't work here?
Is this feature turned off?
TIA

How are they embedded? Are you simply linking to them on another site or do you have to upload them to the forum server?

I'm just linking \ c&p ing the code for them from youtube.com, I noticed they
worked on CF, the MOA (http://bmwmoa.org/forum/showthread.php?t=9209) and advrider
No upload to the site, just hosting\redirecting the bit stream i guess, below is one of them (long) from youtube, there must be a setting or sumpin for shockwave http://www.youtube.com/videos/better4it
When you click on the individual videos the shockwave code is listed below
I can increase frame size just by increasing the numbers below.
Of course the quality suffers doing this.
<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/5meIQZ5buGU"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/5meIQZ5buGU" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
Just curious about this, no biggie if it can't be done
Best,

:tab It looks as if you have to allow the use of HTML in the body of the posts. I have that turned off. It is widely considered a serious security risk to allow use of HTML in posts.
