44 tooth rear sprocket on a 600 Bandit?

Posted this in another forum with no results. Maybe someone here has some info.

I've been thinking of trying this for two reasons:
First, it seems the stock gearing(15/47) is a bit low for my riding style.
Second, I think it would make the speedo/odometer somewhere close to reality as a side benefit.

I believe it would drop the rpm's by about 500 in 6th gear.

Anyone have some experience with this?
