I had an army green KLR behind me this morning at 5:40 am on Spring Cypress Blvd traveling West to 249. Was that you, Dave?
Seeing the KLR from my rearview mirror in the dark confirms my feeling that the f650 could use a little additional lighting if I ever plan to commute with it. While your headlight was fairly bright, someone who was unaware of your presence could have easily not seen you on that dark stretch.
I was in the Murano you were following after the ambulance passed, if that was you. This is why I don't like riding home in the dark from Huntsville on the DRZ, I feel it is not lit up enough. JC Whitney has some 20W spots, if I can figure out where to mount it, I might just get one for the DRZ. We already have a set of 55W halogens set aside for the 650.
