Howdy,

:tab Looks like this Thursday will be somewhat decent weather wise, no rain at least. So we are gonna meet at King's as usual from 7-9pm. I think I'm actually gonna ride. Haven't been on the bike in weeks! Hope to see everyone there.

:tab Kings is one block North of Hwy 105 on FM 149 in Montgomery, Tx.

One of these days, in the not too distant future, I will make it up there for one of the Thursday Meet and Eats. Maybe in the spring, when it is a little warmer. After Basketball season is over. That is SW Christian School league, not the NBA season.

Doing a little wrenching tonight to get a fellow biker roadworthy again. We may hit the local bike night though. We'll be making some bike nights this spring after daylight savings time kick back in. There's just too many deer out and about between College Station and Montgomery to risk it on the bike this time of year. And as far as caging it there goes, when the round trip is 100 miles and your cage is a big truck, that gets expensive gas wise... Have fun :chug: , we'll be there in spirit while turning wrenches on my front porch. :)

That brings back memories. We had one apartment that was really trashed. I mean when we moved in. We kept our bikes in the living room. Great place to work on them also...

:tab You know I hear this all the time from all kinds of people. However, I ride a lot at night and have only rarely seen deer anywhere on FM 149 or FM 1791. I have seen them on Hwy 30 between Carlos and C.S. though. When coming up I-45 yesterday around 6:00pm, there were small herds of deer all over the place on the shoulder. I generally have more trouble with the suicidal frogs that sit waiting for me to come zipping by and then jump right in the nick of time to meet my boot on their way to oblivion  Strange.

Hwy 30 is where I usually see them. I rarely make a trip that way after dark without seeing at least one deer. After a few sightings on the bike, I decided not to take my chances. They creep right up to the edge of the road and you don't see them until you're almost right on top of them. Not so big a deal in the F-150, but a huge deal on the VFR. Just trying to minimize some of the risk.

Howdy,

:tab What happened to Teeth? I don't recall seeing any rain, and no sight of him...? We had another great night. 12 people I think? Sam showed up and was actually on the bike! I was so ashamed after giving him such a hard time about never riding when it is less than 60F. I showed up in the car with Beth and Deb  The waitstaff was tolerant as usual. The other customers might not have been to wild about us, Kelly and Raul get a little excited when telling their stories

:tab Till next week...

Teeth fell asleep on the couch watching tv. Cynthia is out of town visiting a friend, no one to wake me. I realized I slept through bike night at about 8:20 pm. Perfect weather(at least for this time of year). I'm sorry I missed it.

Saturday doesn't look too good for riding.

Whats that all about Meister when you say"I drove with Beth and Debbie"? No riding?
