I heard the sound of sobbing and the cry of "I WANNA GO OUT AND
PLAY!!! " coming from the garage.
I opened the door and saw this...

Kinda brings a tear to your eye doesn’t it?

I asked God to make it rain on weekends for the next 6 - 8 months since Squidward and I are bikeless right now  :trust:

If your wishes are granted, and it rains every weekend for 8 months, I am starting a serious donation drive to get you both up on two real soon.

We had plenty of great riding weather, this rain will pass.
The down time motivated my FZ suspension re-build and I can't wait to grind a few turns out. Maybe tomorrow.

I stayed dry and fab'd a new bracket to "stiffen" up the rear fender and started on a
new mounting for the speedo / ignition to give RAM mount some extra room. I'm hoping
to fit the Quest between the handlebars and the speedo... It'll partly obscure the
speedo, I don't really need it when the GPS is running.

Well, I commute to work by bike...... so as long as it only rains on the
weekends.... I'm in pretty good shape :rider: 2 out of 7 aint bad??

Until you have to clean it up, and replace the various parts with accelerated wear on them due to little bits of crap lodged into tight little spaces between moving parts.

Didn't rain much down here today, but the threat kept me home. I was planning to go to Baytown to flat track, but it likely rained enough over there to rain out. I wasn't going to drive 150 miles for a rain out, put it that way. I'll wait til the next one.

I went out to the shop and fixed the air shocks on my OldWing today. Found a fitting on the air hose loose. But, that was my accomplishment for the day. I figure I saved myself several hundred dollars by not having to buy shocks. :lol2:

Would somebody please send some of that rain down here to east bernard ! We had a few sprinkles but the 60% chance of rain passed us by , i got to ride the whole 60 to 1093 to 1188? Simonton to Brookshire to 359 to Pattison 1458 to 1093 to 60 to 2919 to home without more than a little sprinkle here and there , sure wish it woulda come a frog drowner down here all my cows and horses are gettin dirt on their noses chewing the grass that aint had no water ! I even got to fire up the IT490 and ride some wheelies down thru all the gullies that are supposed to be bank full of water at this time of year , sure do hate to sell that monster , wish somebody from here would buy it so i could get a wheelie fix every now and again ! I figured with all the wheelies on the Concours and the IT490 that somebody would have thought i was doing a rain dance ! no luck . oh well i keep praying that we ll get at least enough soon to knock some of the dust down and help bring in those oats so the critters will have some at to eat !

I like that Simonton to Brookshire road. It gets interesting as you near Brookshire. That decreasing radius over the bridge, kind of a carousel with about four pavement changes. Pretty ride, though. Some nice, and high dollar looking properties out there.
