I haven't been down there in at least 6 months. Boy, it'd grown up! Lots of scrub oak. I had little oaks all in my pegs when I got out of there. :lol2: I'm usually riding my TTR clone, but I took my little Diamo 200 DP bike this time. It's neat, but it's a lot bigger than the TTR clone and heavier. It weighs about 250 and sorta feels like a pig by comparison, but I got used to it. Really handles well out there in the sand. I often wish it had a little taller gearing on the road, but it's great off road in the thick stuff like that.
I sold my 4x4 Toyota, so if it gets wet down there, the bikes are all I have to get around other than my feet. It's dry as a bone down there right now, though, and ripe for a fire, actually. All the grass and brush is grown up and dry. Probably best I didn't drive the van down the "road" considering the heat of the catalytic converter. :eek2:
