Not a person...silly. I need to find an interesting photographic location of something derelict- building, machinery, car/truck, bridge....something with interest which I can compose a good photograph. I probably will go out late morning when it warms up a bit. If you know a good subject matter not too far from North Houston post it here. If you want to take me there, then post and let's meet - you know I get lost easily! But here's the good news - the garmin's got maps! This will be an F650gs foray so nothing knarly.

Scott/Bill if you read this, where was that bridge we were on with the ride with Vaughn, Steve and Stephen?

If you haven't hit the road yet, for a couple of ratted out buses go west on 105 to just east of Plantersville (inside the 50mph zone on the south side of the road).
Second location is in the town of Anderson. 1774 has a four way stop as you enter town. To your left is a building in a great case of disrepair. It is opposite a church and antique shops on the other corners. Knots cafe for lunch is a sure thing in Anderson.
there are a couple of organized bicycle rides going on out of Montgomery today and tomorrow so please keep a weather eye out for those folks.
:sun: Ride safe.

That sounds good. Looks like my husband may be going along for the ride on his Goldwing, so it will be an on road excursion. I remember somewhere along my travels a derelict and rusted large silo of some kind near the road, maybe on 105 and 362 - Anyone know what I am talking about?

Also, just for kicks on 149 just north of Montgomery (west side of the road) sits an old v-bottom boat. Might be worth looking at. Also, the national forest folks were doing "controlled burns" along side 149 between Montgomery and Richards. Not sure if that has any interest for you or not. FYI..149 will be prime bicycle territory this morning and tomorrow.
By the way just where in Spring are you? I live in the Fox Run subdivision (Riley Fuzzle and Rayford/Fox Run Blvd)(north of Spring Creek in Montgomery County).:rider:

Mark and I are on Spring Cypress Boulevard between Hwy 249 and Champion Forest, in Memorial Creek Estates.

Ok Georgia, it's dark out. Where are the ride pics? Inquiring minds:ponder: want to know how the ride went and did you get any good pics?

We never went North yesterday, Mark had to go by his office on South 59, so we looked for some things intown. I might go out today even though it is supposed to be gusty winds, I would like to try to find that boat.
