Thinking about ordering a set of these.

Anyone ever tried them?

I've had a pair for almost 5 years now, love'em!!!! :rider:

2+ years here. Very comfortable on the bike & walking around. Very waterproof (trust me on this).

I think they are a little light on impact protection, but probably equal to most street boots.

I liked mine so much I bought a second pair for when the first pair wear out. Ditto on the VERY waterproof comment. They have been Pie Run tested and certified.

Bill, check around on pricing. I think I paid $119 a year ago.

I just rode from Sacramento, CA to Lawton, OK in 4 days in my brand-new Oxtar Matrix boots. Rode thru about 2 hours of heavy rain. Not a single leak. The boots kept my feet warm (lowest temp was high 40's) and didn't overly sweat in the heat (highest temp low 90's).

They are waterproof and relatively comfortable for riding. The only drawback, and it's slight, is that off the bike you kind of galoomph around. They are not comfortable for any extended walking.

I give these boots a 9 out of 10. They are great and I highly recommend them.

This was on the Oklahoma Dual sport Yahoo group this morning

[okdualsport] <<FOR SALE>> Oxtar Infinity boots, size 46 (U.S. 12

bought these thinking I would be doing some touring and maybe offroad, but I'm not going off road anytime soon and my touring will be on-road & dirt roads.

Anyhow, I have worn them for a few months now and they are broken in. They have not been abused so there is no damage and the buckles are just like new. They'll cleanup nicely for you.

Oxtar Infinity boots are no longer imported into the USA, so there a limited amount of stock on hand at dealers --and mine :D Motorcycle Closeouts prettymuch has all the stock left in the USA andt hey want$189.96 forthem!!! Check out the details HERE

Local pickup in Edmond is best, but I can ship for $10.

Jody.

I have a pair of these with the BMW logo and they are great boots. I can stand in a creek or fall in icy puddles and my feet stay dry and warm. Pretty good for all day wear to.

I'll second the Oxtar Infinity alternative. I bought a pair while New Enough still had them on close-out and really like them. They're very comfortable, and while being a little bulky in the toe, I was able to adjust to operating the brake and shift levers w/o too much difficulty. I had been wanting a boot that's more substantial than my regular street boot (mostly for winter riding) and these fit the bill very nicely.

Paul once again your good taste impresses me. Along with your choice of motorcycles, your choice of footwear is impeccable.;-) I too have a pair of the Oxtar infinity boots and I love them. They are completely waterproof, protective, comfortable and stylish imho:trust:. And they really look hooliganish, perfect for the Speed triple.;-)

Thanks for the responses guys.

I bought a set of the Oxtar Matrix boots.

Fit seems to be good (while walking around the living room).

Maybe I will be able to give them a better try soon (Dr. Appointment next Wednesday and I hope to be able to loose the crutches and maybe the knee brace.)
